Pirin Ultra SkyRace®
Bansko, BUL – 66km +4,200m
The race takes place in the Pirin National park, a UNESCO World Heritage location. The start and finish are in Bansko, an old town, filled with history and traditions, at the foot of the mountains.

With a strong international field pushing the pace and racing for the Sky Extra title, records were smashed, slicing an incredible three hours off the men’s and two hours off the women’s times. In her first skyrunning season and with her win here, American Brittany Peterson, took third in the final ranking. Aurell consolidated his season with the win and title.
